"Torque by Turk": An Unforgettable Exhibit at the Ponce City Market
Longtime Atlanta artist Gregor Turk takes repurposing to the next level with his latest, refreshingly off-beat exhibition, “Torque by Turk”, featuring rubber items and furniture from flea markets and yard sales transformed into works of art. On display on the second floor of Ponce City Market’s Central Food Hall-now through March 13, the exhibit’s theme is synonymous with Ponce City Market’s own redevelopment: everyday items revitalized into something entirely unique. Modern with a gothic edge, these pieces are destined to make a statement in a brooding art collector’s home or in the storefront of a contemporary design shop. The exhibit is free and open to the public Thursdays through Sundays from noon to 7 p.m.
At The Drexel Apartments in Dunwoody, Georgia, we believe it’s important to integrate yourself into the community, which is why we suggest attending this event. Meeting new people, having unfamiliar experiences, and joining neighborhood activities is the key to an exceptional lifestyle.
